People who search for a German Replika alternative usually want one of two things: a counterpart in German, or the closeness a US app promised and then rebuilt. Sitacross is the first. It is not the second with better graphics.
Replika comes from the United States. German is not the character’s native language there. In 2023 Replika switched off erotic roleplay after an Italian data-protection order. People who had bonded in that mode experienced it as a breach of trust. Whether and for whom that mode exists today keeps changing. We do not build our product on their switch.
